I'm just so taken with this book. Currently resisting the temptation to get commissions of it from everyone! Always expected I'd ask John for Etrigan but it was fun to ask him to take on something he'd never done. I really do think it's one of the great character designs of recent times. No excess seams or fiddly detail or layers about it. Just boots, black pants, white top, bandana, knives...and the quirk that we only ever really see one eye. Simple but already instantly recognisable. Wait until cons come back, there'll be Ericas and people wearing those bandanas everywhere. Prescient to have designed a group of characters whose distinguishing feature is a simple face mask.
