Description

After missing some pieces being slow, I decided to apply some proper collector focus to be ready when I saw the 'perfect piece' by WJC in 2020. Really happy it's from his newest Ghost Train series 'cos, as a kid, I learnt about creepy things and jump scares from travelling ghost trains well before my eyes ever went near a horror movie. Are ghost trains a UK/Aussie thing? Do other countries have them?

We talk about nostalgia a lot in this hobby but this modern piece is filled with tons of nostalgia for me. It's like my origin story as a horror fan. All fake cobwebs and skeletons on strings and jittering animatronics and strobe lights and screaming sound effects and masked people dressed in black reaching out to give frights from the dark.

While I'm sure that the American haunted house, or in the country.. the haunted farm is very similar to a haunted train... i feel like there should have been more haunted trains in my life after seeing this! Great piece!
