Description

The Quickening and The Prize! - "There can be only one!" I have always been a huge Highlander fan and I have been looking for a nice Dell'otto painting for a while now. So when I came across this painting, I just had to get it! The first Highlander movie and the TV show were huge for me from pre-teen through my teens, and this is a great representation of the first film's climax! I have a family room that is lined with move themed comic art and I know right where this one will go! :)

This is also one of the first US comics covers that Gab did, as you can see it is dated 2005 and he was first published here in the states in 2006. (although he had been doing Marvel European work for years prior) Dynamite used this as a Giclee print, a large Litho print, and as the cover to the Zero issue, Special Edition, and the $.25 special.
