DescriptionThis is card #38, dubbed "Freedom Rock" from the Art of Chiodo painted trading card set released by Wildstorm back in 1996. I love Joe Chiodo's Wildstorm paintings and was happy to add this one to my collection when I did a recent trade for some other art. I've always kind of liked this one, even though Rainmaker looks more like Michael Jackson doing Elvis than herself:) But the colors and composition, mixed with the '50s Cadillac on Route 66, give it a classic look beyond the comics. This is my second painting from this set and my 6th painting so far, not counting all the color guides. Always looking for more of these:)Art is about 9x12 on heavy board. Social/Sharing |
