Description

I generally love groups comprised of B-Team characters. So this whole period of the Avengers appealed to me. And Walt was really trying to do something with these characters. Given close to free reign with them, he definitely put them through their paces.

John and Tom are a legendary team for a reason. In many ways, their classic style elevated this team a bit. The quality of the art helped to minimize the lack of some of the Avengers leading members from this era.

Bought this from Heritage in 2025.

Nice pickup/HA win! I really enjoy this portion of the Avengers run as well for the Buscema/Palmer art and all the Monica Rambeau appearances.
