A great piece as we see Cyclops adopting the swashbuckling look of Corsair without even knowing it! Byrne is so good at wrenching out the emotions from even the most plain of the X-Men characters. It takes Storm to break him out of his dream. She is smoking hot in the Savage Land. One has to wonder why Scott doesn't just have Professor X open these memories of his trauma.

Savage Land Cyclops & Storm's greatest new uniform, plus Byrne/Austin (and a page of contention by Byrne), great stuff, congrats!!

The second last panel is especially interesting. Scott somehow knows that Jean is not the same on a deeper level. This story, Proteus and days of future past are my favorite of the run. How I wish I had a nice page but theres more chance of Storm in a savagely well cut outfit showing up.

Like Tom and Steve just wrote, it is awesome to see a page show up on the CAF that has resided in a private collection for this long. While X-Men 107 and 108 revealed the linkage between Corsair and Cyclops, it was nice to see Claremont go back to re-vist this part of Cyclops' past. Claremont, Byrne, and Austin really showed their chops on this page all around with the interaction between Cyclops and Storm.

Love everything about this page- especially the flash back effect.
