Oftentimes when I commission an artist, I only know what character I want, I don't really have any ideas for the piece itself. So with this one I really painted myself into a corner. I won one of MC Wyman's 2 Character commissions in color. I was thinking maybe Kitty and Illyana from the New Mutants era. Or Kitty and Peter. That's always safe. But I kind of wanted to see him do two two versions of Kitty. I was super happy to see an awesome version of her during the Excalibur era and the more modern version of her costume.

I feel that MC's style here reflects the Marvel house style of the early 90s, my favorite era. Totally love how this piece turned out!

At 11 X 14 he's selling these commissions on Ebay for a super reasonable price, so everyone should have a commission by him in their collection.

Feels like a modelling shoot where they merged two photos into one. Both have that 80's fashion working!
