DescriptionRick Leonardi and Al Williamson, Spider-Man 2099 page.I'm a Big Leonardi fan since the early '90s. Until a few years ago Spidey 2099 pages were relatively cheap, and I assumed I had time to buy one... then in a moment they went up and I found out I couldn't afford one anymore. Two weeks ago Rick came to Italy on his first ever Italian convention appearance and I discovered that his art for sale folder still contained three Spidey pages. I quickly chose one and paid the very cheap asking price. I don't usually collect pages without the main character in costume, but the fact that this one stayed with Rick for 30 years makes me very happy to own it now. Leonardi with inking by Williamson dazzles our eyes for the fireworks display! They look like toothy gears in this futuristic industialized city. The silhouettes and the shadow work is superb.
