DescriptionThis spooky take on Jeremy Bastian's whimsical character came from the Spring 2023 edition of Comic Art Live's "Mystery Sketch," in which my character request was matched with an artist. Baldisimo fills the background with underwater detail appropriate to Bastian's imaginative world. He's known for his work on the horror book Trese. This Mystery Sketch was deemed memorable enough to be one of three used to advertise the Fall 2023 edition of Mystery Sketch. I agree!Social/Sharing |

KaJO didn't skimp on lines and creativity! Pretty brave of anyone to try to take on a Bastain character.

Really happy that you liked what KaJO did! During our "Character Draft", either Harvey Tolibao or John Amor suggested that KaJO do this piece. I think it turned out really well! The details he added are just fantastic to look at! Thanks for posting!
