DescriptionBought thisbone directly from Balir himself. A great spin on the classic Alex Ross Joker/Harley Quinn "Tango With Evil" cover of the 12th Doctor and Missy for Titan Comics. Apparently the BBC wanted The Doctor's smile taken away and a more serious face given and the artist did that digitally. I think it works better with the smile. Blair does all of the inking digitally so his original art is in pencil only and it comes across light. I know the thumbnail image doesn't pick up the artist's pencils well and I am glad you clicked on it to see this cover in all it's glory.Social/Sharing |

It's a very nice tribute, which Ross used the JC Leyendecker Arrow dress shirts ads as an inspiration. The ads didn't have a smile, while Ross added it for the Joker. Both work as The Doctor would smile in such a moment.
