Holy Moly!! How many pieces did I unbox!? This is getting ridiculous!

Continuing to post more art from my Original Comic Art Unboxing with Ruben DaCollector.

From the Shawn McManus April 2024 art drop, comes this great faux cover of Captain Marvel. When Shawn previewed his art drop there were two pieces I really wanted, both were faux covers. This Captain Marvel one and a Superman/Lois Lane one, I missed out on the Superman but happily grabbed this one.

Shawn's style is such a great fit for Captain Marvel. Classic big barreled chested Captain Marvel. The Captain never looked better punching out Hitler. A fun & great piece.

I've included Shawn's colored version. Done digitally.

You just blew my mind in more ways than one, Rick! Not only had that song disappeared from my memory COMPLETELY, but it has likely been since the year it came out in 1984! On top of that, I have no recollection of the artist's name, nor did I know until just now that he was the lead singer of the J. Geils Band from 1967 to 1983, who also sang vocals on everyone's favourite, Centerfold and Freeze-Frame!

I'm pretty sure I mentioned it during the unboxing, but just in case, let me state it here for posterity: Any piece of art showing Hitler getting punched out is a GREAT piece of art!
