DescriptionThis is a cool and creepy splash page by Sean Gordon Murphy. This series revolves around the first year of Scarecrow's becoming a Bat-villain. The man he is trying to scare to death is his own father, Gerald Crane. Scarecrow reads his father his military medical file and mentions that he is terrified of insects, so he doses him with the fear drug and puts him in a rolling office chair on the end of a beam high on top of a building construction site. So he makes his dad see and feel bugs all over him so he'd slip off and fall to his death. Then he leaves him there. Pretty scary, really.Social/Sharing |

It's so wild to see Murphy's early work. Thanks for sharing!

Very creepy and visceral. It's interesting to compare the differences in Sean's early work to his more recent work, but the cinematic storytelling seems to have always been there. Congrats!
