Description

The final page of Pearl by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos from Bendis' Jinxworld imprint. Apparently most of the art from the latter issues of the series was done digitally, but Gaydos created this page in pencil and then finished it digitally for the final print version.

Purchased from Michael at Galaxy Con Raleigh in 2023

Sensational page, Ben! Terrific portraiture of both Pearl and Rick, infused with some beautiful dragon imagery. Fantastic "series wrap up" image that is just as stunning as a stand-alone "pin up" of our power couple. With the -incredible- amount that Michael adds to just about every single panel of this gorgeous book with his brain-melting colors, it's brilliant to see him cut loose with that mean pencil of his. Really, REALLY great piece, Ben! Congrats!
