Red Sonja takes charge and the swords and sorcery has even greater sex appeal with Thorne's great fantasy cheesecake displaying the female form in raw action.

(For me) Thorne IS THE definitive Red Sonja artist and you got one of his rare covers, so you are all set.

This was the last, and one of the best, of the 14 Red Sonja covers I sold for Frank, who was one of the nicest artists I've ever met and that cannot be disputed.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a gorgeous Red Sonja cover by the great Frank Thorne! Here you've got a cool scene of Red Sonja defending herself against the Web Spider Queen, Sorti-Lej. The Queen is holding up her arms which are transforming into a hideous giant spider! Red Sonja reacts by swinging her steel blade at the huge spider and slicing off one of its legs! This cover is a great example of Frank Thorne's talent for drawing Sword and Sorcery scenes! No wonder he was selected to draw the exploits of the She-Devil with a Sword! Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
