DescriptionYear: 1991Size: 11” x 17” If I had to identify my absolute favorite issue of X-Men during Jim Lee & Scott Williams’s run, it would be Uncanny X-Men 275. It had it all. X-Men in space, Shi-ar, Space Jammers, Savage Land Rogue, Magneto and more. That Tri-Fold cover was something else and that issue had so so much great art. That said, when I first picked up this issue as a young horny teen, the page that got burnt into my mind was that of nekkid Psylocke (Jim Lee also does the best Psylocke ever and no one can convince me otherwise). I did not even remember that there was a panel of Wolvie doing what he does best above the nekkid Psylocke panels. Stupid shadows covering all the naughty bits…… anyways there are many great pages from UXM 275 but MY PAGE of choice would always be the nekkid Psylocke page! When this popped up on Albert’s site, it was a no brainer…. Interesting things of note would be the page number at 45 when the comic itself didn’t have 45 pages. There was also a note scribbled at the back for this to be sold so I suspect it came directly from Jim’s collection. Hooray for teenage me! Social/Sharing |

such a great image and even more exciting if this is one Jim had held on to for all of these years

Looks like Jim switched gears from the top half to the bottom half. The close up of Wolverine's face is like an homage to an Art Adams drawing. The bottom half changes the mood and goes more into shadows to tease the feminine mystique.

I think we need some close-ups of those bottom panels!

I could have sworn I saw this page in a gallery on CAF in my early days of collecting (I remember seeing those panels with a bathing Psylocke and conveniently placed shadows), but either way, it made its way (back) to Albert and into your collection. Congrats on getting your page from your favorite Jim Lee X-Men issue!
PS- did you happen to take a picture/scan of the note on the back?
