Description

Arion was one of the first books I knew I wanted pages from. Not only because I'm a big Duursema fan, but also because I remember the book so well. And, it never hurt that Wolfman and Perez gave him such a great, early spotlight in Crisis.

With a great DPS from Arion 21 and now this fantastic cover, I may be square with pages from the book. Not only is the image of Arion and Calculha big and detailed, but the way that Gaarn Daanuth is integrated into the logo is terrific. Very glad to add this early cover to my collection.

Am guessing that Tom Mandrake, who inked the interiors, also inked the cover.

Bought this through a HA auction in spring 2025.

Crying emotional covers are just as moving as action covers. Made even more impactfull by the black background to pull in more focus.
