Description

Chris Bachalo is one of my favorite artists, and the Black Cat is one of my favorite characters. So when I saw that Chris had drawn a series of pin ups featuring Felicia I hoped that I would get the opportunity to add one to my collection someday. I am so thankful and happy that I was able to add this one. I really love his depiction of Felicia here � she�s not scheming, trying to take over NY, or eluding the police or Peter, she�s just a girl enjoying some downtime with her cats, and showing off her most recent score (a hidden Mickey!). I love how proud of herself Felicia looks here, and also how curiously her cats are looking at her and her little trinket. Chris is a master at capturing emotions. It�s a nice, quiet moment in what can be a very fast paced and chaotic lifestyle. It�s a beauty. Thank you very very much to Chris Bachalo!

Very nice that she's holding court and playfully teasing them with her new trinkets and has the slight smirk a la Natalie Dormer. The added grey tone is subtle and very effective in fleshing this out.

Good call on Natalie Dormer. And you're spot on about the grey tone. The scan does not do it justice.

I was bummed to miss out on Chris's last couple Black Cat pieces. Congrats it's beautiful! I think we both might have an unhealthy affinity with Felicia, lol.

Thanks Tim! Yes, I can't seem to stop buying Felicia art. Haha. You have some great pieces of her! Hopefully Chris will do another batch of Black Cat pieces soon!
