Description

Long story short! I purchased this piece that was a commission, eventually used as the cover for David Finch’s art of marvel hardcover. Originally it went unfinished. About 95% complete minus the costume webbing and chest emblem. I was able to make contact with Finch over email. And he discussed why it went incomplete. Essentially he felt it was too dark, but it was one of his first full painted commissions. So rather then try and lighten it, he redid the lighter version on scan of the original pencils.
Finch agreed to finish it for me. And after meeting him for lunch it was all finished.

It includes the original pencils! This is my grail piece. I love how it turned out. Finch also provided me with a scan of the pencils and inks. So I was able to display the painting, pencil scan and finished hardcover.

Finch is an incredibly nice guy. And I consider him a friend now! Great experience all around!

Something truly unique and high end! Not many can claim to have a painted Finch cover.
