DescriptionSo here we go. THE PAGE. Punisher War Journal #6, page 4. This was the first page Wolverine shows up in in the series. It blew me away! A great interaction and sequence but I would argue here that this page and specifically the art in the bottom right panel is next level. It is raw. It is savage. The intensity of Wolverine is masterful. In person, that bottom right panel feels like an entire page and that is because your eyes have a hard time leaving it. It just imprints and you never forget it.This is THE page that took Jim Lee up a level. I remember it growing up. Granted it is not Cover #7 but it is the true first data point on the exponential line that put Jim Lee into orbit. Whether he was aware or not, it is a point on his own evolution. Social/Sharing |

The last panel is EVERYTHING! The penciling, the shading, the rage and of course...SNIKT! It gets no better than this.

Indelible marks on Wolvie here from nascent Jim Lee. I think you actually don't quit...

Outstanding! "Nice blade, bub, but I brought my own" - and that's bladeS - plural! Great storytelling as you move down the page, capped off by that oh-so-good headshot! Congrats!
