Description

“Stay still handsome, stay a live.” The best page in the book with an awesome line from Cable to Gambit in their first ever meeting. Wonderful job by Art Adams here in a key X-men book with Gambit’s first appearance. Gambit appears for the second time ever in the 4th panel and you see a little of his leg/coat in the 5th panel. I believe the only page with Gambit in action as well. Art Adams on X-men. Could you ask for any more history on one page. Thank you X for making it happen.

It's a good one! It's became an event to have Art Adams for these annuals and he always delivered the big page counts with his signature painstaking artistry.

Wow, important page, much?! :) LOVE seeing these older AA interiors. This is one of the books I think of first when I think "AA". Huge congrats!
