Description

If I had an art bucket list, a good Thrillkiller page or cover would be pretty high up on it. Aside from the 12 year art buying hiatus, I've been trying and failing to get a piece from this series for 20 years! Multiple times I was sniped on Ebay. Then when I was buying my second Lady Justice cover directly from Dan I asked him if he had any Thrillkiller pages for sale. Originally he thought he had a lot more so he was willing to let some go until he actually checked what he had left. Not much there, so he wanted to give those remaining pages to his kids. He was worried I'd be angry over that. My father only gives me insults and accusations of breaking into his house to leave food, so I thought that was a really nice gesture to do for his kids. But I still didn't have a Thrillkiller page. So as if by divine intervention, someone posted this on Ebay and I sweated bullets until the auction closed. I would have settled for a decent page, but this one is amazing, it's the second page of Batgirl and Robin in costume for the series!

Brereton's breakout series for DC! He showed a raw energy and his love for that burnt orange filter. Ahead of its time as a prestige project of painted interiors for a mainstream comic. This is a great action piece from it and early enough to establish the look of the mini series.
