Description

This commission was done by Michael Golden at NYCC in 2017. I am a fan of Michael Goldens style for the Punisher series. Especially the covers for issue 50 and 100. I asked him for a punisher commission and he said, "Okay". I then went on to say that I wanted him to be ducking behind and overturned table while reloading. His eyes got big, understandably so, and then said that something like that would cost several thousand. This was my first commission so I really didn't know how it all worked. He explained what media he uses and what he rate was. I agreed because I already knew that I wanted a piece from him. I handed over the sketchbook and before I walked away I asked, "So how is it going to look?" He then said, "Don't worry, it'll look like the Punisher." I like how it turned out and now when I look back at the interaction I laugh. He is a unique guy.
