DescriptionAs a huge fan of Frank Cho’s ‘Mighty Avengers’-era portrayal of Iron Man (and who doesn’t love a Larsen Spidey and Dodson…anything? :) ), I’m REALLY excited about this beautiful 11x17 Comic Art Live pickup that features some stellar figure work and allows me to (finally!) post the first Frank Cho and Eric Larsen adds to my gallery. W00t! There’s even some space left over to add another few characters down the line (watch this space for updates... :) )!As an extra-special ultra bonus, there is a beautiful, unfinished Frank Cho 'Hulk' piece on the back (see Additional Images and elsewhere in my gallery for the full write-up). Thanks again, Brian! Social/Sharing |

Quite the top level names on this piece. I did love Larsen's run on Spidey. By the way, that Hulk work on the back is as good as anything on the front! I myself was completely shut out from any purchases at CAF CON, so I take great pleasure in seeing that YOU scored, Jason!

These are the heavy hitters of convention going artists willing to draw. You'd have to plan ahead on that last space for character and artist combo.

I see the beginnings of an incredible jam piece. I so dig the angle the artists used here. And that detail! I sure hope you get the chance to add, I really want to see where this goes. It's gonna be hard to get more at that high of a level, but worth it. Great choice. Congrats!

Thanks, J H! Yeah, that angle is really striking - really unique - and was one of the (many) things I found so compelling about the piece. Building upon the amazing foundation in place here is an exciting (and daunting!) challenge... I have some ideas and I can't wait to share them. Thank you, J (and all)!

So you finally go your Cho, congrats Jason.
No I'm a' put some pressure on you by telling you that the blank part would need to be filled by Adam Hughes ;)

Not a Bendis? You don't think I need to tie a piece in my collection more closely to Brian...? 😜
Adam Hughes is a GREAT idea, F M! Thank you for the suggestion, and I can't wait to see what I'm able to add to it, building on the hard work (and great taste) the previous owner bestowed upon it. Thanks, F M!

Poor Tony. What a time to run out of WD-40. Try as he might; he can't get his fingers to straighten to pull off the pose.

3 stellar artists for the price of one! Well, not sure if it was one. Maybe two? Hopefully was at least that! As the Cho Shellhead was the reason for the buy you got 2 particular killer bonuses, no doubt! Love the crouching Spidey pose and the web shooting hand, with Widow doing a derivation! Suh-weet! Congrats, man!
