This was a monster pick-up for me a while back. At the time of purchase I had a few things checked off my Nic Klein Hulk checklist: basic page, basic page with Hulk somewhere on there, a good single page image with a good image of Hulk (basically a splash). However, I felt like much of Klein's run had been defined by his DPS in each issue. Most issues seem to have two or three of them. I was lucky enough to see one in-person and knew this was something I wanted to try and grab if possible. When I saw this issue was dropping from Felix, I knew this was the chance. A key to getting a DPS for me was it having a really good Hulk image. Getting one with a transforming Hulk would be even bigger. This page fit the bill and I had it flagged when the drop was ready to happen. Fortunately the price was something I could manage (it wasn't cheap, but I knew another opportunity was not coming around) and I was able to shoot my claim in immediately when the drop happened. I could not be happier. It is an absolute beast in-person and captures so much of what Klein has been able to do so well on the series. Enormous, well rendered Hulk, body horror, monstrosity. Just great stuff.

Masterfully macabre artwork! Meant to feel like 70's swamp thing with how much lush ink lines are used by Klein! It should get better recognition of this as years go by!
