DescriptionI have long been an admirer of Miran Kim's work and her beautiful paintings. She works in a mixed media collage style where she glues down photos and images and paints on top of them. I have a couple other paintings by her already, and some sketch cards and commissioned cards, but I have wanted a cover for a while now. I almost got a Crow cover painting once and I have missed out on a couple X-Files covers that I wanted pretty bad. But I LOVE the Predator films and when I saw this classic '90s cover of hers, I had to get it. Really glad I did!Social/Sharing |

I wanted this myself but didn't have the extra funds at the moment. You got it at such a great price too. Congrats!!!

Thanks, Troy! I wanted several pieces in that last round of auctions, but I was also limited in funds and this one I made a priority because you don't see Miran's work hit public auction often. But I know I got a great price. I did go really big on it at the end and got extremely lucky that no one else was still bidding at that point. I still would have won, but it would have cost me a lot more. ;)

Great cover, Dave. Congrats.
I recently score a Miran Kim X-files cover, and, I too, love her use of Mixed Media. Truly great works of art.
