Here's the art to I Hate Fairyland # 5 page 1. I was lucky enough to pick up some pages from Brett Bean from this special issue. This is a special one because I had the opportunity to collaborate with my friend, Skottie Young to write and record a song inspired by this issue.

I love how Brett Bean's art fits perfectly in the world Skottie created and how Brett really brought so much great energy to this issue and the band! It's just screaming to be adapted into an animated series.

On March 15th, 2023 my band Jack the Radio released “This World” as a companion piece to Skottie Young’s I Hate Fairyland issue #5 comic book published by Image Comics and drawn by Brett Bean. The first page of the comic book includes a QR code to stream the song and calls for readers to scan before reading and “...rock out as you follow along with Gert doing Gert stuff… .”

Concert set pieces of the one shown here would be an epic and operatic visual and audio experience!

Fun stuff for sure. You should do a "Battle of the Bands" agains Pebbles and Bam Bam. Your song against their "Let the Sun Shine In". Won't lie, I've loved that one since childhood, so I think they'd give you a run for your money!
