DescriptionThis photo booth strip of Peter and MJ by Thomas Pitilli is the second of a series of commissions inspired by the last panel in Spider-Man:Blue. The panel has a photo booth strip of Peter and Gwen, and I thought it would be really fun to have set of pieces with Peter with his three main loves of his life - Gwen, MJ, and Felicia. This one turned out great! I love the overall vibe of the photo strip. To me, it feels like this was taken years into their relationship — they look so comfortable together being silly and goofy, but still clearly very much in love. It’s very wholesome and fun! MJ is such a sweetheart. I also like how he incorporated Peter and MJ’s silhouettes in the background and uses it as a theme for all three pieces. It actually magnifies Peter’s feeling of loss in the Gwen piece when displayed side by side. It also reminds me of some of the covers in the series that have characters prominently featured in the background. Huge thank you to Thomas who was nice and great to work with! 11 x 17 Social/Sharing |

Very nice with MJ and Peter each having a hand on the strip while their other hands are presumably used to embrace each other.

Thank you, KG! Definitely THE couple. :) I'm reallly glad we're getting to see them together again (with kids!) in Ultimate Spider-Man. Really enjoying it so far!
