The cover was a classic Sam Keith piece, but if it had been done in the day of numerous alternate covers this would have been perfect for one.

I wasn't familiar with it until I saw this piece but now I wholeheartedly agree. Hulking, bulky Venom is the ideal Venom for sure.

Wow! What a fantastic Venom page by Pace Medina and Juan Valsco! I love the look of Venom here, with the thin waist and massive muscles--Reminds me a bit of the Handsome Hulk. And Wolverine here is looking good as well--Trim and young and ready to rumble! It's always fun to see how different artists handle the same characters. Medina and Valsco give us younger, trimmer and more buff versions of our favorite characters. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!

Thanks! I used to not appreciate Medina's more animated style as much as I did other artists' work, but I've really grown to love it in recent years. And I love his version of Venom.
