DescriptionWhen I was 10 years old I went to Walgreens and bought my very first comic with my own money. This page is from the issue that started my run on Amazing Spider Man that lasted nearly 30 years.Social/Sharing |

Finding a page from your first comic is a thrill. known to a few. Most folks don't remember their first comic and for the rest of us finding a page is really hard. Particularly one that is so characteristic of the character. Congratulations

Good to see it went to a good home! When I saw the 'on hold' I could kick myself! :) Great page from a fantastic era in Spidey history - the eighties rule!

I think this is something all collectors should aspire for - to own a page from the first ever comic they bought. I am sure it triggers a lot of memories in your head and is a piece that means more to you than it would to others. Congratulations!

First comic jones, classic Spidey, classic villain, spider-tracer fu, tree-swinging fu, gratuitous butt landing, gratuitous Ka-zar reference. I'd say that's a page worth checking out.

This isn't a small grail - it's a huge one! Thanks for sharing the backstory to this. In addition to your emotional connection to it, this is a great page with unique panel composition.

A great action page from a very memorable storyline. I can see how this page is a piece of nostalgic gold for so many art fans. Thanks for posting it.

Wonderful page! Who knew that Frank Giacoia's would work so well with Romita Jr.'s pencils.

Absolutely beautiful. Newton/Alcala was the best Batman team of the 80s. I remember this issue well as I loved the cover as well. I'm so jealous of you!
