Description

I really wanted to open this book up with a group shot in the front cover, to properly set the tone. Obviously there's no way I'd get a group shot from Eastman/Laird, but as far as I'm concerned Lawson was the absolute next best choice. Fortunately I saw he was going to be at RICC, and then at the Northeast Comic Con in Boxboro a few weeks later. So I gave him my book to take home between the cons and asked for a B&W 4-turtle group shot on the inside spread. WOW did he deliver - still blows me away looking at it!!! Beyond happy to have this kicking off my new book!

This would fit in with any merchandising art. He even mimics the OG duo tone board look with his marker washtones!
