Description

Signed by Doug but undated, this piece looks definitely like done in the early 1990s. The Mask was created by writer John Arcudi and artist Doug Mahnke. The Mask started out as “The Masque”, a reoccurring black and white comic in the early issues of Dark Horse Presents back in 1987, then as a trilogy of “The Mask”, “The Mask Returns”, and “The Mask Strikes Back” limited series, from 1991 to 1995, followed by various comic spin-offs, a very stupid movie, a Kids TV-series and other media. The series is known for its dark tone, sick humor and heavy graphic violence. Great and recommended to read for adult comic fans in my humble opinion!
