I've been on the hunt for a Sonny Trinidad original Bloodstone page for quite some time and jumped at the chance to pick this one up! Somehow, Ulysses Bloodstone just became one of those Marvel characters, like Modred or Man-Wolf/Stargod, that seemed too cool to me not to break thru in a bigger way. Maybe just maybe, he shoulda guest-starred in the Amazing Spider-Man back in the 70s to boost his profile�Ah well!

Wow! I've never read any Bloodstone comic, but it looks like it was quite a book. Sonny Trinidad's work here is really cool--It reminds me a bit of Neal Adams, especially in his figurework. I like the flow of the action here from panel to panel. That second panel is especially cool. Interesting use of the Bloodstone itself as a background element in panels two and five. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
