Description

When MAD magazine artist Dave Berg passed away, his son Mitch sold a number of items that had belonged to his father, among them a framed photograph of the staff that took the first MAD trip, to Haiti. (Starting in 1960, Publisher Bill Gaines took the staff of MAD on exotic trips all over the world.)

In recent years, I had the matte autographed by former MAD editors Al Feldstein and Nick Meglin, both of whom went on the trip.

Nick Meglin did me the great favor of identifying the people on a photocopy of the photograph.
