Outstanding Cardy art! His art for young characters during this period had the groovy hipness factor to appeal to the audience. Aqualad and the seahorses get more shine here than even Aquaman.

Gorgeous Nick Cardy Aquaman page! Nicely laid out, and beautifully inked. I love Cardy's use of blacks on this page. I'm intrigued by the way he alternated between using black on the backgrounds of panels 1, 4 & 5, and on the main characters in panels 2 & 3. It created an interesting dynamic to the page. He was master of the craft. Great pick-up, congrats!
