DescriptionMico has flat out done some of the best covers to come out of the new Valiant. I loved the original Valiant comics back in the day, before they sold to Acclaim and the entire line went to crap. Harbinger #1 was the first Valiant book I ever bought and though it led to me loving and buying everything they did, it was definitely my favorite title and has a special place in my heart. And the new re-imagined title has not let me down at all, with a fresh take on the characters and a very enthralling story. The new Valiant is doing a fantastic job and I knew I needed to get something really special, and these Harbinger covers are truly epic! I honestly feel they are the single-greatest example of the early days of the new Valiant, and I feel privileged to have them. The image completely sums up the entire series perfectly, which is the story of the Harbinger Renegades taking on the powerful Toyo Harada and his corporation! Plus, any time you have a multi-image cover, it pretty cool, and a Quad Cover image like these is truly exceptional! Valiant has done a variety of 2 or 3 cover images but this is the only 4 piece and I can't stop beaming:) It is so much more incredible in person and I intend to get it framed up as well.This is by far the most epic art purchase I have ever made and the most money I have ever spent. When I found out the price on this, which is easily 10x more than I would ever normally pay (I'm a smaller budget collector), I didn't balk at all as I usually would. It was the first time I was quoted an obscenely high (for me anyway) price and instead of running away I immediately asked how long he could give me to pay:) Then I went about having a frantic "grail sale" over a few months to raise the money and sold off a lot of my treasured art in order to get this. It is that awesome, period, and I don't regret the decision at all. So I am very pleased to show this off, as this is truly, deeply, a grail for me and I now have a better idea of what that actually means. Social/Sharing |

Holly shit Dave! Your in the big time now player. Man what a cool feeling it must have been to pull the trigger on these after being a deal hunter for so long. Size really matters with art and now you got a 3'6" piece by an awesome artist?! It's going to have so much impact framed on your wall.
