Description

This is a prelim on around a 8" x 11"

From asking, via his website, I believe Steve blows up the prelim using several 11 x 17 papers then traces it with transfer paper onto a board/canvas and paints it.

So it's cool to know how this prelim turns into the actual cover art!

Love the raw ideas of Steve Rude on this prelim that's done like the illustraton line art version before the painted work came to existence. It lines up more with the sci-fi adventure illustration era that Nexus was inspired by.
