Robert H. Webb - The Hawk Daily Comic Strip Original Art (Iger/Phoenix Features, c. 1950)

Second installment of The Hawk, Pirate "Good girl" art is the order of the day in this terrific (and sexy) episode, drawn by Robert Webb (Fiction House artist).

In an attempt to keep some of the characters Iger and Eisner had created alive, Iger started the small Phoenix Features newspaper syndicate in the early 1950s, using the talents of the Iger Shop artists to produce such titles as Flamingo (Matt Baker and John Thornton) Inspector Dayton (Jack Kamen), South Sea Girls (Baker and John Forte.) and this The Hawk (Robert Webb).
