Description

The Dark Horse books with Dan Parsons and Jan Duursema on art were (and remain) a huge part of my life growing up.

When I initially reached out, I had just asked for Anakin, but when we were starting to develop the piece for real.. I asked if he could throw Xesh in there somewhere.

Xesh (or Tau) from the Dawn of the Jedi minis had a very similar vibe to Anakin. A force user struggling with the balance of both sides, eventually fully redeemed by his actions.

The piece features the backgrounds of Tython, the Tho Yors, and Anakin's home of Tattooine.
