Description

I was excited to see DC do an Ape-ril special with all of their super primates, but the Detective Chimp short from Joshua Hale Fialkov with art from Phil Hester and Eric Gapstur was the real standout for me. Always a good time when DC's real greatest detective gets the spotlight. But, man! That evolution background is nothing short of spectacular. And there's Bobo at the end with his magnifying glass. Hester is just too good. And Gapstur really brings the atmosphere with his inking. Great duo!

Wow! It just came out a few weeks ago and the art is in your hands already before April! This is one of the best designed pages of the book and better than the banana scratch and sniff gimmic!

The scratch and sniff is pretty cool, but I'd agree with you. I went a little bananas over this one. Have more of the pages coming.The best one just came in first, luckily!

I loved this short so much. Everything great about DC's true greatest detective. Glad it wa the first full story I was able to snag. And Hester was the cherry on top!
