First crossover between the Shadow and the Batman.

There are three pages in this book that I really wanted the splash page and the last two iconic pages where the Shadow comes face-to-face with the Batman and The Batman tells the Shadow that he was his inspiration and that he should come out of retirement and work along beside him..

The Shadow was an inspiration to almost all dark noir street level big city crimefighters that came out of the gangster era. This team up was decades in the making with DC finally getting the rights.
