Description"Mayor Mayhem, Part Two"January 2022 As a collector I have a very very classic taste... except on ... BATMAN!!! Batman is the only run I'm still reading and collecting. I love all classic artists but I also love the "modern" ones. I'm not going to list them... it would be too much long. I'm very happy to add this amazing cover to my collection. I love Jorge Fornés' art. I love the way he draws and I also love the ambience and backgrounds he is able to create in his artworks. He is a master shooting cities and skylines! He is also a master portraiting the darkness. His art matches perfectly with characters like Batman or Rorschach. Art is signed by the artist. "I am vengeance. I am the night. I am Batman." Hanging out by a giant outlaw billboard seems like it a great way to get spotted. I mean if he was just walking down the street in his costume people would prob not notice and just he would blend in but while he's by the billboard, people would go. "Hang on a second, that guy looks familiar but I can't quite place it. Oh wait, he looks just like the dude on the billboard. I'm gonna call Robert Stack".

Not very familiar with Fornes, but I like what I see.

It blurs the animated with the regular superhero comic by elevating it as good art without labels. It's using a lot of Alex Toth and Eisner influences and Fornes pulls it off with style and class.

Superb cover by Jorge Fornés for Batman: The Adventures Continue #6! I love that Jorge drew this massive cityscape with a very small image of Batman posed on a billboard, and caught in the glare of a spotlight! Police helicopter hover overhead, searching for the caped crusader. There's something about Batman that lends itself to massive cityscapes. Because after all, Batman IS Gotham. Fantastic cover, sincere congratulations!
