Description"Honor"December 1989 Wolverine Limited Series 1-4 is a colossal 80's Marvel masterpiece. A Claremont/Miller outstanding creation. Not necessary to talk about it. I deeeply love that story arc. A "romantic" story about that killer... That series were published in Spain in a three issue pack. This is the cover of one them. The last one. The ¨Honor¨issue. Wolverine Limited Series were published in Clásicos Marvel ("Marvel Clasics"). This is the cover of Vol. 1 #17. Drawn and inked by one of the most reputated spanish artists in US. A very young Carlos Pacheco did this amazing artwork. That is SUPERB. I can't pay a better tribute to that amazing artist than taking care of this beauty(DEP Carlos 2022). This is a FINE example of the art from a very young Carlos Pacheco. That's the reason why MU bet on him! "I’m the best there is at what I do, but what I do the best isn't very nice" WOLVERINE PD. Logan-san returns! Pacheco looked back upon the mini series and adds the graphic design element of the blood splotch on the solid black background to emphasize and serve warning that this is more than just an ordinary Wolverine story.

That jet black background is so stunning, and of course highlights the blood splotches both on the floor and the wall behind Wolverine where a body was apparently stabbed. The colored version makes all this even more striking. And having Wolverine kneeling gives the moment a solemn ritualistic feel. Amazing image!

Gorgeous Wolverine cover by Carlos Pacheco! The pose is so perfect with its nod to Wolverine's love of Japanese Samurai culture. Love that he's drawn wearing a Japanese Kakama and holding a Japanese katana. The cover is enhanced by the all black background broken only by the bloodsplatter on the wall. A+++ cover!

Tube el honor (nunca mejor dicho) de ser su propietario unos años y sólo puedo decir que mejora al natural. Es una composición simple y bella, en una concepción muy oriental.
Me chifla la epoca "joven" de Pacheco. Sus portadas de la época Forum son todas una delicia.
