DescriptionBack in ’95 I saw a comic named Ballistic #1, I never read comics b4, but OMG the art was so stunning , that I came back for #2 and #3. From that moment my life changed. After Ballistic came Witchblade and I still love Mike’s pencils the most on that series. His lines blew me away . My mouth was open and I was speechless the first time I saw Ian Nottingham. If I had a chance to let Mike draw me an Ian, that would be out of this world, has been in my head for 13 years . Ian is still my fave character and he always will be ……..Thanks Mike for creating such an awesome character. I know, he loved that character, too, so much! I still can’t believe it’s on paper ….. For me the ultimate piece ever…….. the piece I always wanted Mike to draw. My dream came true with this one . Thanks Frank, but above all…….. Thanks Mike for making my dream come true! Thanks for changing my life! Thanks for putting a smile on my face 13 years long with every piece you did! Thanks for the fact your art was part of my life (most years the biggest thing in my lfe untill I met my lovely girlfriend but even that wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t saw Ballistic #1) Comics will never be the same without you. Rest in Peace, MASTER! Social/Sharing |

Mike put so much heart in that piece, you can sense in every line he drew. I'm just glad you finally decided to share.
Congratulations my love - to that masterpiece.

This a great piece of Turner art. Beautyful line, Great look. Reminds me of a cover he did for i think it was 'Cannon Hawk issue 0' of cannon standing in the rain. On of my favourit covers he has ever done, Simple but well done.

Very impressive, and it's so much better in person. You should commission Peter to colour it for you.
