Description

I spent the last two weekends filming an instructional painting DVD that will hopefully be available in time for San Diego. It'll have a full interview and a painting filmed from sketch to finished piece. This is the result. I wanted to do something that would look impressive on screen, with as many varied textures as possible. I was going for a 1970's retro movie poster feel. It was certainly an experience working with someone watching and two cameras going at all times, but I'm really happy with the result. 19"x32" The DVD will be available from http://www.woodcrestproductions.com/

Great result especially the hair on Sheena's head.
I also love the structure in the stone.
Probably just some little technique thing but it works.
