Description

The Walking Dead comic book got me deeper into collecting comic art and back into reading comics. I absolutely loved the comic series (the TV show not so much) and Robert Kirkman's writing. This cover art by Charlie Adlard is from issue #113 March To War Part 4 of 6. This huge climax leads into the All Out War storyline. I don't think you can go wrong with a Walking Dead cover featuring Carl & Andrea stuck between a zombie hoard and Negan.

This cover is easily one of my favorites from the whole series! Back in 2013 I traded my Walking Dead #27 cover (1st Governor) for The Walking Dead #112 cover, The Walking Dead "The Governor Special" #1 cover and enough money to buy my girlfriend an engagement ring. We've long since married and have two wonderful children. So I guess The Walking Dead even helped start a new chapter in my life.

Check out my two commissions by Walking Dead co-creator Tony Moore. I have a cover recreation for issue 19 1st Michonne and a commission with Carl Grimes killing Shane to protect his father Rick Grimes.

I agree that this may be one of the BEST covers in the series! Not only does it have zombies, you get Negan's blood soaked knife with a great composition! Truly an amazing piece, congrats!
