Description

This 5 issue run was an enjoyable take on the Godzilla world where a Kaiju fungus like creature threatens humanit. Jake Smith's style reminds me of some of the old MAD work. I actually commissioned him to do some work that I plan to post in the future.

Pretty cool style, lots going on in that cover!! Def reminscent of MAD to a certain degree. I was eyeing some art from this title awhile back on Cam's site (i think), interesting stuff!

Beautiful cross between cartooning and illustration by Smith! It has a fun vibe that is hyper detailed to make the drama feel more serious. This series coincided with Godzilla Minus One, Godzilla X Kong the New Empire, and Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong to mark a golden era of Godzilla in pop culture zeitgeist.
