Impeccable page from early association from John Buscema and Ernie chan
The story was good (brought from R.E. Howard), the dynamic duo created very strong pages and typical Conan facing battles and Magic.
This page has it all, regarding what fantasy should look like.
I am happy to have the 2 consecutive pages.

This scan posted is a digital merge of the background page and the vellum, to reveal the beauty of the original.

As they did not have Image editor software, this was the technique of layers allowing the printer to put this special blue effect only to the creature of the Bat.
Same concept with photoshop layers nowadays...

That a great job combining the art on the overlay to the art on the board! Very classic with the Buscema and Chan combination that defined the character's adventurous brutish charm during the mid 70's.
