Description

Two page story from the underground, Choice Meat Comics #2 from 1971.
I don't know why Spiegelman's name is spelled wrong at the bottom of page 2. Maybe someone else wrote it? This has always been credited to him and the two Jays. The timeline is right, and the gorgeous textural shading sure looks like him to me.
And as for the fourth creator, P. Simon, I have zero clue. It's the only thing in comics.org credited to a P. Simon.

Sorry for the image. This piece and the second page are both mounted to a sheet of foamboard which is too large to fit flat in my scanner. Had to take a picture instead and unskew it as best I could. I will get it to a conservator at some point to have it removed from the board and cleaned.
