Someone posted a question on 'X' (formerly Twitter) asking: "If you could have a creator work on a character they've never worked on before, who would it be and which character?"

It didn't take me long to think of Mike Allred and Blue Devil. I've always been a fan of his art and visual storytelling. You know you're in for a fun read whenever you pick up anything he's touched. Blue Devil was one of my favorite characters growing up � the idea of a Hollywood stuntman magically fused into his costume was just a ridiculously fun concept, and Paris Cullins' art style was like nothing else I'd seen at DC at the time.

Mike Allred's take on Blue Devil is one I can and have been staring at constantly. It's so cool to see one of my favorite artists illustrate one of my favorite characters (in his classic look, too!).

I'll also post the illustration with colors by Laura Allred!

Perfect character choice! I could see the Devil being at home in the Madman universe.
