DescriptionGrowing up I was reading a lot of my X-Men stories in the Classic X-men run and was a huge fan - the bonus was the issues cost much less than the original series and you got great front and back covers not to mention the bonus stories. I really like the clean look of the Bolton art in many of these and this to me was such a strong image and memorable back cover. The back covers tend to really give you a sense of what the second story was going to be and I’d look at both sides as they came in the mail to me before I opened and read them. The second stories really help to develop and go deeper on the characters.Social/Sharing |

Very beautiful putting Storm in a classic 50's Sci-Fi fantasy spacegirl adventure look! Her hair and power lines flow with ease like the wind!

This is a beautiful and quite memorable image. Some of Bolton's best work in this series. Congratulations Brian on the addition and a sincere thank you for posting this here for us to enjoy!

Wow! What a cool back cover illustration by John Bolton! Looks like the cover to one of those '50s Sci-Fi books--"Space Vixens of Planet XXX" or something siimilar. Interesting that Bolton chose to put Storm in this quirky setting. I mean, she looks great, but why this scene? Anway, it's gorgeous art by one of the great, if underrated artists out there. Great pick-up, congrats!

these issues features a side story written by Claremont and drawn by Bolton - they tie to the main story but are written 10+ years later, the back covers are represnetative of the side story, this side story did feature Storm and these ladies - a cool thing to check out
